Although always a fashion week favorite of mine, Claudia Li ‘brought it’ this season. The theme of her Autumn/Winter presentation was “Take Me Away To Another Place and Time“, which can be seen metaphorically as an escape into a different world or space —creating one’s own idea of ideal. Her use of different fabrications to create shapes and dimension, illustrate that things are not always what or how they appear. Thinking deeper conceptually can remove us from reality, allowing us to create a more functional and representative atmosphere for our ideas and creations.
