Sol de Janeiro Celebrates Summer with Signature Cocktails by LEBLON CACHAÇA

Get a taste of Brazil, with our signature Summer sips!

We partnered with Leblon Cachaça to celebrate Summer by bringing you (3) signature cocktails, inspired by our iconic Bum Bum Cream, plus our luscious Coco Cabana Cream and antioxidant-rich, Açaí Body Power Cream. 

Leblon Cachaça is a premium brand of the spirit cachaça, made in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Cachaça is the key ingredient in Brazil's national cocktail, caipirinha. Not to be confused with rum, Cachaça is made from fresh cane juice (not molasses like rum is) and represents its own category of alcohol.

SOLCATION

- Slice of orange and mint leaves muddled - .5oz simple syrup (to make simple syrup use same proportion of sugar to hot water) - 1.5oz Leblon  - Shake and strain into clean rocks glass - Top with guaraná soda (or ginger ale)

Inspired by our cult favorite, luxurious all-over-body, Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, SOLcation is made with Leblon's Cachaça, 3 simple ingredients and topped with guaraná soda; a refreshing and very popular carbonated drink in Brazil.

Recognize the word guaraná? You should! It's extract is one of the key ingredients in our Bum Bum Cream. Found in the Amazon Rainforest, the caffeine-rich Brazilian berry has 5x the amount of caffeine as coffee and is the secret behind significantly smoother and firmer skin.

THE PURPLE PRINCESS

- 3 pieces of lime, muddled

- 1oz Cedilla (Açaí Liqueur)

- 1.5oz Leblon 

- Brazilian shake with samba, smile + ice

We wanted to give your taste buds the same crisp, invigorating feeling that our antioxidant-rich Açaí Body Power Cream gives your skin.

THE PURPLE PRINCESS is a blend of Cedilla (an Açaí liqueur, also created in the Minas Gerais region of Brazil), Leblon Cachaça, muddled lime - finished off with a Brazilian Samba when shaking and a smile + ice :)

COCOLICIOUS

- 1.5oz Leblon

- 2oz coconut cream

- 1oz condensed milk

- 1oz Blue Curacao Liqueur

- Blend with ice

"Ba-chee-da". Batida is a term used to describe the blending of ingredients with ice. In this case, to make the cocktail extra luscious like our Coco Cabana Cream, we blended Leblon Cachaça, coconut cream, condensed milk and blue curaçao, with ice. 

*Fun fact: Don't let Curaçao Liqueur's blue color fool you - it's actually orange flavored.*
